York St John University is pleased to be hosting a breakfast session for employers about degree and masters level apprenticeships.
The recent introduction of the Apprenticeship Levy means funding is available to employers who want to pay for apprenticeship training and following the launch in April this year, 1.3 per cent of the UK’s employers will have to commit to paying into the degree apprenticeship pot.
Whether you are upskilling your existing workforce or recruiting new talent, apprenticeships are an innovative and cost effective way to attract and retain high calibre employees. The session, delivered in partnership with the Chartered Management Institute, will help employers understand the advantages of degree and master level apprenticeships and how they can work for your business.
With the Chartered Management Degree Apprenticeship launching in September and the Masters level Management Apprenticeships in development for 2018, York St John is ideally placed to respond to your needs across this major national workforce agenda.
The breakfast will include an opportunity to network and ask questions with other employers and meet YSJ staff who will be there to offer advice and guidance on next steps.
