York Local Plan

The City of York Council has recently been consulting about a Local Plan for the city. The Plan is a citywide plan which will help shape future development in York over the next 20 years. It sets out the opportunities and policies on what or will not be permitted and where, including businesses and new homes. The Plan is also a critical part of helping to grow York’s economy and create up to 11,000 job opportunities by identifying land for employment uses.

The York & North Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce’s Property Forum has led on developing the Chamber’s response, you can find the pdf of the response here.
